1000 for a $1000…

For 100 years, Mennonite Central Committee has been responding to needs around the world, walking alongside people, offering relief, development and peace in the name of Christ.

The Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale is helping to mark 100 years of work in the name of Christ! You can help MCC and celebrate their centennial by “gifting” $1000 before April 17. Our goal is to have 1,000 people contribute $1000 which would total $1 million.

We have a ways to go. MCC strives to use resources wisely and will make good use of your “Centennial Gift”. You can contribute with a check, by rolling money from an IRA, by giving what you can. You could join together with your family, your co-workers, a Sunday School Class or a group of friends to help MCC, “in the name of Christ”.

Small gifts of a few dollars to large gifts of several thousand dollars are welcome. Your gifts for 1000 for a $1000, may be sent to the Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale or to Mennonite Central Committee. Send your donation to Tim Miller, Relief Sale Treasurer, 4805 S. Broadacres Rd, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501 or to Mennonite Central Committee, Central States Office, N. Newton, Kansas 67117.

You have an opportunity to help people around the world, and to support an organization that makes the most out of every dollar donated.

Is it your time to donate? Please prayerfully consider a gift.
