This 1951 International Dump Truck was purchased new in 1951 by the City of Inman, KS. I was purchased locally at the IHC Dealership in Inman owned by Karl Schmidt. The City of Inman used this truck for many years.
The exact year of retirement is unknown but the city sold it to Ike Friesen who owned the local Grocery Store and Ike used it to haul wheat on his farm for many years. Upon Ike’s passing the truck was passed on to his son Randy Friesen who owns a Custon Harvesting Business in Inman. Randy donated the truck to the 2020 KS MCC Sale.
72,000 Miles. Powered by an Overhead Valve 6 Cylinder International Motor. Tires are descent. Body has a few normal dents and dings. Original Upholstery is Above Average.
