Art Nouveau Butterfly Iron Bed Frame

The original antique iron double bed frame (headboard, foot board, iron side rails, and wooden slats) circa 1885 is a stylized Art Nouveau butterfly design with bold pineapple castings. The bed originally was in the home of Peter B. and Evelyn Wiebe Zielke, 114 East 9th St., Newton, Kansas. In the 1940’s Duane and Larry Friesen (grandsons) remember sleeping in the bed while on family visits from Idaho. Five generations have slept in the bed. Donated by Duane & Elizabeth Friesen, Bethel College Mennonite Church, N. Newton white iron bed frame - Art Nouveau Butterfly Iron Bed Frame
