The Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale is RUN on donations! In addition to pre-sale financial contributions that help us give 100% of our sale profits to Mennonite Central Committee, donated items in the form of auction items and baked goods, etc. as well as the 1,000 volunteers that donate their time, help to make the KMRS successful year after year.
We appreciate all you do!
Thanks for your interest in donating auction items to the Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale. Items bring the most money if they are advertised in advance.
Please send the following to to photos@kansas.mccsale.org:
A member of our auction team will contact you to get more information if needed.
Donated items can be brought to the sale on Friday between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM or prior to 8:45 on Saturday, the day of the auction. If you are unable to deliver items during these time frames, in many cases your church liaison can assist with delivery. If none of these options work, please call 620-747-0186 and we will try to get it picked up…We can collect things prior to the sale as well. If you still need information, please email info@kansas.mccsale.org.
Please download and print out the registration form to attach to your hand-crafted item for the 2023 quilt auction. Additional instructions are included on the form.
All donated items must be received by the deadline indicated on the registration form for inclusion in the Buyer’s Guide. Any items received after that date will be saved for next year’s auction.
Questions? Contact Charlene using the contact information at the bottom of the form.
Consider donating new, in-the-package, items to this year’s auction! Talk with the youth in your church to see what items they would like to bid on, but you can never go wrong with Hot Wheels, Barbie, board games, Lego sets, art kits, and sports equipment. Items may be given to your MCC Liaison for delivery to Sale or they can be brought to the Pride of Kansas building on either Friday or on Saturday morning before 9:30.
Thank you!
Suggestions for popular items: zwiebach, pies in small tins (with one recipe making 3 small pies); angel food cakes; cinnamon rolls; ‘Dutch’ spun honey; big request for peppernuts!
Popular Pie Fillings (both for selling whole at the Baked Goods booth and serving by the slice): peach, gooseberry, rhubarb, apricot and any kind of berry always sell out. Some apple and cherry pies are also needed.
Please contact your KMRS church liaison for pans/pie tins/bags & for more information.
